Electrify Ashland Now invites you to join a growing community of Ashland residents who are upgrading and transforming their homes for a healthy home and planet. Every yard sign helps to spread the word and inspire your neighbors to join us on the path to clean energy!
About the program
By electrifying your home and getting your energy from renewable sources, you become part of the solution to the climate crisis. Each home and appliance counts — and everyone who makes the transition helps to turn the tide toward a healthy future!
Your home does not have to be electrified for you to join the program — we welcome everyone, whether it takea you six months or six years to fully electrify.
How it works
1. Sign Up
Sign up below to request your “in process” sign kit, which includes milestone badges to mark your progress and helpful resources. Proudly display your sign in front of your home — every Electrify sign helps to spread the word and inspire your neighbors to join us on the path to clean energy.
2. Make a Plan
Every home is different—make a plan to get started. Explore resources on this website and then fill out our free home energy assessment form. We’re happy to guide you through the process.
3. Take Action
Clean up your electricity supply and swap out the systems in your home, adding badges to your sign as you electrify. Check out our electrification-friendly contractors.
4. Celebrate!
When your home is powered exclusively with clean energy, let us know so you can get your 100% Electric sign to display outside your home.

Air Heating and Cooling
Avoid 4-8 tons of carbon pollution per year by installing a super-efficient heat pump, that will keep you cool in the summer and warm in the wintertime. Depending on your needs, there are ducted, ductless, and portable systems available. Check Energy Star for more information on heat pumps.

Water Heater
