Rebates and Incentives
Investing in energy-efficient upgrades isn’t just an environmental choice—it’s smart savings. Federal, state, and local rebates and incentives can help reduce your costs while supporting a cleaner, greener Ashland.
City of Ashland Incentives
Updated November 2025: The Ashland City Council just approved many new energy-efficiency incentives:
➡️ $1,500 for a forced air heat pump (also known as a variable speed compressor)
➡️ $900 for a ductless heat pump or mini-split
➡️ $1,400 for a 40-gallon or larger heat pump water heater
➡️ $1,000 for a new electric panel upgrade or $600 for a circuit upgrade (income qualified = incentive can cover up to 100% of the cost)
Income-qualified community members can receive twice as much $ for electric vehicles, heat pump heating and cooling systems, heat pump water heaters, and electric panel/circuit upgrades.
