Energy tax credits are here!
If you’re planning on taking on energy efficiency projects anytime soon, you could reap major savings on your taxes. For example, if you owe $5,000 in taxes, and you had a tax credit of $2,000 your new tax bill would be $3,000. Ka-ching! But act soon if you want to claim these credits on your 2023 taxes — rhere are only a couple of months left before the end of the year! (Note: Rebates will also be available through the IRA, but this part of the program is moving along slowly. We hope it will be in place by mid-2024.)
